Enhancing Self-Awareness and Emotion Regulation

Overview: The Mindfulness Yoga for Kids program aims to address the challenge of self-awareness and emotion regulation among children by offering a holistic approach through mindfulness-based yoga practices. This program provides children with valuable tools to cultivate self-awareness, manage their emotions, and foster overall well-being.
Problem Solved: This program helps children develop self-awareness and emotional regulation skills through a combination of yoga, breathing practices, guided relaxation, and mindfulness techniques.
- Yoga: Engage children in age-appropriate yoga poses and movements that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness. The yoga sessions will be designed to be enjoyable and interactive for children.
- Breathing Practices: Teach children various breathing techniques that help them regulate their emotions, find calmness, and cultivate mindfulness in challenging situations.
- Meditation (Guided Relaxation): Guide children through relaxation exercises and guided meditations, fostering inner calmness, focus, and stress reduction.
- Mindfulness: Introduce children to mindfulness practices that promote present-moment awareness, sensory exploration, and non-judgmental observation of thoughts and emotions.
- Bonus: Arts & Crafts, Fun Activities: Incorporate arts and crafts, along with engaging and fun activities, to further enhance the children’s enjoyment and creativity during the program.
