Cultivating Self-Awareness and Emotion Regulation
Duration: 1hr or 8 hr package (private group classes offered as well).
Overview: The Family Mindfulness Yoga program is for moms/parents/caregivers and child(ren). The program is designed to address the challenges of self-awareness and emotion regulation by offering a transformative experience through mindfulness-based yoga practices. This program provides adults and children with valuable tools to develop self-awareness, manage emotions effectively, and enhance overall well-being.
Problem Solved: This program helps adults and child(ren) develop self-awareness and emotional regulation skills through the integration of yoga, breathing practices, meditation, and mindfulness techniques.
- Yoga: Engage in a comprehensive series of yoga poses and movements tailored to adults and children, promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and body-mind connection. The yoga sessions will be designed to support self-awareness, to be enjoyable and interactive for children and adults.
- Breathing Practices: Learn a variety of breathing techniques for all ages that promote deep relaxation, stress reduction, and emotional balance, empowering participants to regulate their emotions effectively.
- Meditation (Guided Relaxation): Guide adults and children through relaxation exercises and guided meditations, fostering inner calmness, focus, and stress reduction.
- Mindfulness: Develop a deeper understanding of mindfulness and its application in daily life, fostering the ability to be fully present, non-judgmental, and compassionate towards oneself and others. As well as introduce childr(en) to mindfulness practices.
- Bonus: Arts & Crafts, Fun Activities: Incorporate arts and crafts, along with engaging and fun activities, to further enhance the children’s enjoyment and creativity during the program.
- Value: Participants in the the Mindfulness Yoga for parents/caregivers and child(ren) program will learn how to create a sustainable self-care practice, gain self-awareness and self-regulation skills, allowing them to navigate their emotions, experience the present moment more fully, and cultivate overall well-being.
